This week over at creative inspirations we have a challenge of Doodling! I decided to just do a basic doodle around my image.

Creative Inspirations - Challenge 4

Evening! Iv just finished watching my daily dose of soaps lol

Tonight i have my dt card for creative inspirations to show you! This week the challenge is to use two images on your card!

Unfortunatly Tara has had to give up her dt place due to her other commitments :( but it does mean there is another dt slot open so the prize for his weeks challenge is for a dt slot but were no looking for 1 were looking for 2.

So heres my card, it didnt photograph well i must say lol it looks wonky and dull so sorry about that lol

M v S Sketch

God its been a hectic day i think my lil kitten has a boyfriend :) Well it would be sweet but she hasnt bee spayed yet :s So we have been having to close every door just so she cant get out to meet him that is until my dad came home and let her out TYPICAL lmao We managed to round her up though hehe

CREATIVE INSPIRATIONS CHALLENGE ONE!!!

So today is the launching of the 1st challenge over at creative inspirations :) I am so excited to see what people are inspired to create!

Just to remind you, you can use any image and combine our challenges with others aslong as you are showing us a new piece of work and not something that was created before the challenge date!

We decided that for the first challenge there will be 2 winners who will win a dt spot with us!

So for our first challenge Nat created a fab sketch for us all to try! So here it is:

Bunny Bath!

Just a quick post from me tonight as i need to get some beauty sleep lol I have made a card to follow these challenges:

For some reason my card looks like its smaller at the bottoms and gets wider at the top but it just the angle it was taken at lol so here it is....

Cute Candles!!!!

The first thing I would like to share with you is we will be launching the creative inspirations challenge blog on Wednesday 25 march :) So please pop along and join in!!

Also I have a few little creations to share with you :) I decided I wanted to make something a little different for mothers day this year so after looking at a few of bevs altered items i was inspired to decorate some candles, which were alot easier to make than i first thought!!

So here is the first one i made for my mummy :) She was delighted with it this morning, she loves seeing all my little creations lol

and here is the second one i made which is for my Nan. I used the same image on the candle as i did on her card so its a matching gift :) (you can see the card in the post below) I am entering this candle into:

• ABC - F is for flowers
• Stamp something - think spring
  

Recipie:

• Martha stewart doily punch for the bottom border
• penny black spring greetings image
• prima flower

To make you own candle all you need is:

• a plain candle
• Thin tissue paper
• a heat tool
• greaseproof paper

Method

1. Stamp your desired image onto thin tissue paper and colour it in (i also used glitter glue for the little bees wings which looks really effective!)
2. Cut around the image carefully
3. Place the image into place on the candle
4. then wrap greaseproof paper around the candle, hold it tightly so that the image stays in place
5. Gently heat it with you heat tool, it will glisten when the image is melted into the wax
6. gently take of the greaseproof paper and your done :)

Loo Roll!!!!!!

When i saw that this weeks Double Dutch Challenge was to use a loo roll i just had to join in lol I really enjoyed making this and using the toilet roll made it so easy!!!

I am entering this card/loo roll into the following challenges:

• Double Dutch - On a Roll
• LOTV - Mothers Day
• Sukkersott - Brown, pink, green and blue

Heres what i came up with.........

As its Mothers day next sunday I decided i best get cracking with the cards as I have my nanas to make also!! I decorated a piece of card that would slot in and out.

Altered CD!!!

Hey all!!! Sorry for not posting any cards for a while I seemed to have lost my mojo lol But I sure got it back today hehe I was having a look at a few blogs and saw Nat's amazing altered CD she had made for EAC so this is where i got the inspiration from :)




I am entering this CD into 2 challenges which are:

1. EAC - Altered CD
2. Basic Grey - NO Angles

Heres what I came up with......

I decided my craft room walls were WAAAAY to empty so this will be a little wall hanging to put up :)

Sketch and Stash!!

Heres the card which i have made for this weeks Sketch and Stash challenge!! For this challenge I had to follow a sketch and use something new or something thats been neglected lol Well the ribbon is some staff I got in a set and never got round to using lol and also I recieved the image in a swap i did, Ive never used a male magnolia stamp before!! So here is is .....

Another card from me tonight I must be on a roll lol I had to get a card done for my uncles 5oth birthday. I followed the sketch from over at ptw!! and heres what I came up with....

*UPDATE* I have just spotted that this week over at Dutch dare there challenge is to use the colours green, blue and brown!! thought this card would fit just perfectly!!
